Bidwell Park Apartments
The 38-unit affordable development at 1197 East Eighth Street replaced the former Pear Grove property. The site history includes resident relocation and language-access concerns, neighborhood opposition, reapproval, public financing and the eventual opening of a 100% affordable community on a major transit corridor with accessible and adaptable features.
